The museum highlights the history of Pereyaslav area by displaying archaeological materials from ancient times until the middle of the 13th century – the Tatar-Mongol invasion. The exhibits were found in the settlements of Kiev culture (III-V centuries), antes and glades (VI-IX centuries), old Russian and Pereyaslav area settlements, the ancient city of Pereyaslav (X-XIII cc.). You can see pottery and building ceramics, various handicrafts Items made of metal and bones, rare items of religious purpose and decor of the interiors of churches in this museum.
